REQUIREMENTS : A applicable NQF stage two Cleaning journey in the laboratory will serve as an introduced advantage. Basic expertise of cleansing principles. Basic know-how of chemical use e.g., dilution/mixing. Understanding of cleansing tools used. Knowledge of fitness and security requirements. Knowledge of document keeping. Basic grasp and making use of laboratory security rules. Basic appreciation of making use of or the usage of chemical compounds correctly. Good conversation and interpersonal relations.
DUTIES : Clean laboratory and equipment. Remove all laboratory waste in accordance to procedures. Clean glass and plastic ware in accordance to procedures. Remove and join fuel cylinders. Complete applicable types to make certain traceability of laboratory activities. Stock taking of cleansing materials. Requesting cleansing substances as and when needed. Clean storerooms. Emptying waste bins. Keep inventory of chemicals. Refill deionized water containers. Report hazards, broken equipment, machines, or hazardous prerequisites to supervisors. Switching
on and off laboratory air compressor.
