HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR
SALARY : R151 884 per annum

REQUIREMENTS : Minimum academic qualification: General Education and Training Certificate (GETC)/Grade 9 (Std 7). Experience: Appropriate cleansing trip in an industrial unit. Inherent requirement of the job: Ability to work shifts, together with weekends and public vacations and in different departments. Willingness to undergo formal / casual in-service education and to teach sub-ordinates. A legitimate (Code B/EB) Driver’s license. Ability to speak efficaciously (verbal and written) in at least two of the three authentic languages of the Western Cape. Competencies (knowledge / skills): Basic laptop literacy (MS Word and Excel). Supervisory capabilities and most useful utilisation of sub-ordinates. Knowledge of Staff Performance Management System. Ability to function hobbies structured tasks. Ability to function machines/equipment in a low-budget manner. The incumbent have to be capable to work independently and beneath pressure. Knowledge of the standards of asepsis to forestall infection, infestation and cross-infection. Knowledge and competencies of procurement practices.
DUTIES : Maintain a excessive trendy of cleanliness and hygiene inside the hospital. Supervisory and overall performance administration of housekeeping team. Effective utilisation of assets (physical and financial). Responsible for wonderful communication, basic manage and organising of housekeeping duties in a Health Facility. Respond to patron complaints & different requests. Handle and get rid of home and scientific waste. Audit tests for all work areas. Control and problem linen inventory as required. Monitor and refill cleansing product stock. Application of disciplinary techniques and war resolution. Supervisor of operational necessities inside the Housekeeping unit. In residence coaching of housekeeping group in all elements pertaining to to every day tasks. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and sanitation insurance policies in all areas.
