REQUIREMENTS : Applicants have to be in possession a applicable undergraduate qualification at NQF stage 6 as diagnosed by using SAQA in Project Management/ Administration/Economics/BSC/Engineering/BCom. At least 5 years’ relevant experience in energy. The following key advantage and attributes are essential: Knowledge of legislations, regulations, frameworks, pertaining to Public Service Administration, specially the Public Sector Planning and organizational skills. Problem fixing and decision-making. Be in a position to multitask, top organisational skills. Excellent pc literacy in Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, and Projects). Be a self-motivator act pro-active,
problem-solving competencies with top interpersonal skills.
DUTIES : Render logistics and secretarial services. Ensure Meeting/Event Arrangements (e.g. invite, venue, catering, equipment, etc.) are in place. Assist with stakeholder engagement to reap facts and tackle problems of relevance to the Unit or Department. Assist with inter-departmental communications and engagements concerning troubles / statistics associated to the Unit or Department. Develop and maintain/update stakeholder database. Follow up on implementation of moves emanating from stakeholder and inter-departmental engagements and document thereon. Implement precise moves allotted to DPE. Render aid in appreciate of technical elements of the Unit. Study and overview the applicable coverage archives (IPAP, NDP, NGP, etc.) pertaining to the things to do of the Unit to information the activities of the Unit. Assist in drafting proposals, notion notes, TOR, etc. on precise areas of activity to the Unit for analysis. Assist in conducting research (research and analysis) on sectors or areas of relevance to the Unit. Assess and grant inputs on the technical factors of relevance to the Unit. Assist with monitoring and comparison of the things to do of the Unit to supply progress reports to the DG and Minister. Provide inputs in the evaluation of the
Corporate Plan and different reviews of the SOC when requested. Collect facts and inputs from SOC for briefing papers on their things to do of relevance to the Unit. Draft submissions and screen growth with approval. Maintain positive interior administrative processes. Co-ordinate price range in accordance to initiatives of the Unit. Ensure that invoices are paid for offerings provided. Facilitate planning techniques for the Unit. Develop quarterly reviews for the Unit. Co-ordinate Portfolio of Evidence for the Unit. Arrange tour process, journey varieties and claims. Maintain files of the Unit.
