ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: INTERNAL AUDIT REF NO: CSP/13/2023
SALARY : R424 104 per annum, (plus 37%)
CENTRE : Pretoria
REQUIREMENTS : National Diploma in Auditing/ Internal Audit and Accounting or equal qualification. 3-5 years working trip in Internal audit. Understanding of Treasury and PFMA Regulations. Knowledge of inner Audit approaches and Accounting Standards. Knowledge of IIA, ISACA, GAA requirements and Government legislations. Computer literacy, hassle fixing and analysis, planning, interpersonal, verbal and written conversation skills. Report writing skills, presentation and mission administration skills. Ability to work below pressure.
DUTIES : Participate in the development/ assessment of inside Audit methodology. Participate in the development of the three-year strategic danger primarily based audit plans and annual audit operational plan. Participate in the coordination with different inside and exterior provider (AGSA). Perform compliance, overall performance and economic audits to validate the effectiveness and adequacy of inside controls to tackle governance, danger administration and compliance structures. Attend planning periods (Strategic planning, Strategic Risk Management etc.) to take part in identification of the key threat arears for the department. Maintain environment friendly and fine department’s interior controls of interior audits. Develop proposals to decide the scope of allotted inner audits. Execute the allotted audit engagement, collect, analyse and interpret facts for Audit purposes. Develop findings and suggestions for the enhancement of controls/processes. Keep up to date with new tendencies in the inside audit environment. Engage in non-stop expert improvement things to do applicable (tools and techniques) as required/prescribed. Coordination of information/ packs for Audit and Risk Committee (ARC). Maintain a file for Audit and Risk Committee member’s records. Assist with minutes taking for Audit
and Risk Committee and Management Steering Committee meetings.
